Job description

I make all kind of things, which mostly consists of lots of shoe models, new lab testing equipment, and a little bit of design work.

What have you accomplished at the Sole Technology Institute so far?

For starters, I helped build and create Sole Technology’s model shop from scratch. Once that was up and running, I could start creating footwear models to send over to our factories. My whole work really speeds up the time between design and production. I’ve also helped design and develop a couple of new physical testing machines for the Lab, including the Ollie / Kickflip Simulator and the Shoe Lace Breaker.

What do you hope to accomplish in the future?

To keep creating more footwear models for our designers and to complete the work on a new Snowboard Boot Flexing Machine.

What do you like about working at the Sole Technology Institute?

The people and the culture. The work is kinda interesting, too.

Do you participate in any action sports?

Eeeyup! Surfing!

What do you enjoy doing in your time off?

Being creative painting, sculpting, building, gluing, grinding, welding and a bit o’ muzak.

Do you have any personal future goals?

Sumo wrestling CHAMPION of the WORLD!
